Find Your Natural-looking Beauty

The Restylane® family of products are revolutionary dermal fillers. Restylane® fillers may be used to add volume and fullness to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and facial folds that occur, such as the lines above your top lip and trough that forms between the nose to the corner of your mouth (referred to as the nasolabial folds). Restylane® can also be used to restore definition and volume to the lips, as well as restore volume to the cheeks.1 Dr. Melissa will be able to direct you to the Restylane® filler that will benefit you best.

Each of these Restylane® products is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to instantly, visibly reduce moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds or add fullness to your lips and cheeks.

Aging Process

Aging is a natural and slow process- our tissues change as we age. We lose fat and volume in the structures below the skin. This loss can show up in our appearance. Our cheeks will look less plump, and certain areas can start to wrinkle and show lines that a youthful face does not have. We all age at different rates depending on diet, genetics, sun exposure and lifestyle.

The good news is that there is something we can do about it. You can use the Restylane® family of products to help smooth out those lines and to add volume back to areas that need it.2

Timeless Youth MD is a physician directed medical spa. Dr. Melissa will work with you to identify your needs and then develop a treatment plan for you that will give long-lasting results. Every client sees Dr. Melissa so you know you will be in the experienced hands of a physician that can prescribe the products and post-care treatment best suited for your particular concerns.

Does the Restylane® treatment hurt?

Restylane®-L is made with lidocaine, a common anesthetic, to provide a more comfortable experience during and after your treatment. Some areas are more sensitive than others, for instance many clients believe lips are slightly more painful than other places. Dr. Melissa has many methods at her disposal to make these procedures as comfortable as possible.

What should I do to prepare for my Restylane® treatment?

Dr. Melissa will ask you to discontinue the use of aspirin (if not specifically prescribed by your doctor) and ibuprofen for 7 days before your appointment, in order to minimize the risk of bruising. There are other blood thinning medicines that Dr. Melissa will want to know about before treatment, and the use of these may need to be limited as well. Avoid drinking alcohol the night before your treatment. Schedule your Restylane® treatment at least 2 weeks prior to any big social events.

What should I do after my Restylane® treatment?

Avoid touching, massaging, or putting pressure on the treated areas. Avoid heavy exercise and extremes of hot and cold for 24 hours. Use of ice packs can help with any swelling or bruising that may occur. Dr. Melissa will give you detailed post care instructions and answer any questions you may have.
